When we are dealing with energies, it is very important to keep it flowing equally, in both directions. I’m sure you all know of relationships where one person does all the giving, and the other all the receiving. This makes a very unhealthy relationship.
This kind of unhealthy relationship can happen with Reiki so it is important that there is always a fair exchange of energy. This can be in the form of money, barter, or the natural give-and-take within a close friendship or family setting.
Many people have difficulty charging for Reiki treatments. I, for one, have never charged for a single treatment. Instead I request for an energy exchange in other forms. When Reiki practitioners charge for a Reiki session, they are not charging for the healing (for Reiki does the healing – not the practitioner); but are charging for their time.
There may be times when it is inappropriate to charge or to barter for a Reiki treatment. For example in an accident. In such cases, we then “donate” the treatmet to the Universe

I am a sucker when it comes to Tupperware products. I have spent thousands of dollars buying things that I need and justifying on things that I dont need. My latest purchase this week – Lucky Eight along with some other products which were promptly delivered to me yesterday.
Tupperware tumblers
This morning when I went out for breakfast I filled one of the mini tumblers with water and put it into my small little bag. Can you believe it – it leaked on me. I rang up to my agent and I was asked to test the remaining 7 tumblers. They all leaked but at a very minimal level. I informed my agent and she promised to look into it but she mentioned that this batch of mini tumblers may not be absoluted leak proof? What? Tupperware not leak proof. This batch not leak proof? What other batches are not leak proof? And how do we as consumers know which batch is leak proof and which one isn’t?
I thought Tupperware pride itself in the industry of excellence till its end …. that their products are given a warranty against cracking, peeling and chipping. Of course leak proof was not stated. Was it meant to be an escape clause?
Obviously customer’s confidence is affected. What difference does it make then in buying Tupperware or “Tipuware” (normal plastic containers)?

Let’s look at a few feng shui* tips that we can follow and benefit from. Just four very simple ones. No need to take out the fengshui luopan or compass or rush to the fengshui shop to buy anything.
Five Yellow
A strange sounding name, It is straight cut off Chinese. The Cantonese say it as ng wong and the PRC call it wu wang.
Five yellow will be sitting in the east. What this means is that the east direction is where the five yellow will be and it will stay for the next 365 days until the next spring. It is a negative star, something we want to avoid. ‘Offending’ it brings Continue reading this article →
