Valuable information on water
by Sandie on November 28, 2009

| Received this email from a friend and thought it will be great to share with all. We all know how important water is to us and that water is the second most important nutrient for life, just after oxygen. More than two-thirds of the human body is made up of water, and the brain is nearly 85 percent water. So whether the information below is effective or not, we should all the same consume lots of water.
Timely intake of water will maximize its effectiveness on human body.
Two (02) glasses of water – After waking up – Helps activate internal organs
One (01) glass of water - 30 minutes before meal – Help digestion
One (01) glass of water – Before taking a bath – Helps lower blood pressure
One (01) glass of water – Before sleep - To avoid stroke or heart attack |

I am an alternative/complementary therapist and a Reiki Master since 1995. I left the corporate world many years before retirement age and went on a special journey with crystals with Riza Regis, the Crystal Lady from the Philippines. Energy works from then on became a very much big part of me. I realised my dream of producing a new age magazine, Inner Journey in 2005. I believe in simple living and a happy life. I also blog at Inne r Journey which is my personal blog. I hope you enjoy the articles and nuggets of information shared on this site.

The last part t help prevent stroke or heart attack b4 sleep is certainly helpful. A folk belief has it that taking that glass b4 sleep will drown the kidneys which I do not believe unless one drinks so much as to overwork the kidneys.
In any case, that is worlds better than stroking and not waking!
Hi Josh
Water before sleep and upon waking up is my regime and I agree with you on the kidney aspect. Cheers to water!
